Born and raised in New York City, Jade was exposed to every cultural aspect that life in the big city could offer. As a mixed Puerto Rican and African-America woman, she countered the stereotypes by allowing her actions to resonate more than her words. She’s traveled the world, garnering knowledge about different cultures and locations to include in her stories.
Jade includes her acquired knowledge into every story she writes. In Silent Flower, she taught her readers some basic sign language and about the seven sexes. In the others, the knowledge bestowed will relate to the topic of the tale. At the moment, Jade is working on a science fiction epic novel. As she did with Silent Flower, Jade plans to include a bit of unknown knowledge related to the subject of the story.
Jade has settled in a small rural town in northeast Georgia where she spends her days teaching middle and high school students while working on her writing. In her free time, she enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles, and playing with her dog.
